Whitten Oval Redevlopment
“When you’ve seen where we’ve come from… you just wouldn’t believe what we have at Whitten Oval today. The facilities are now right up there, and it makes the players feel like the professionals we are.
“When I go to the Club and Whitten Oval now I see a real community around us. The first thing you see when you drive in is a child-care centre!”
Bulldogs Heritage Museum program
“The history of the Bulldogs and the stories that are passed down about the different people and characters are so inspiring. These stories will be all brought together in the Museum. There’s a cliché that you don’t know where you’re going ‘til you know where you’ve been.
The new Museum will give people a grounding in what’s come before. I think it will also enrich younger generations who will come through and experience the Bulldogs heritage.
Projects
Over $9 million donated by our incredible supporters has gone to projects that keep our Club strong and provide valuable community assets. The lion's share of this funding supported the redevelopment of Whitten Oval, and the construction of facilities for the benefit of the community around us - a child care centre, and an indoor sporting facility.
